Jonathan Wheeler

Jonathan Wheeler was born in Lancashire in 1958 and lived in different parts of the United Kingdom, Australia, and Brazil before settling in the Scottish Highlands with his wife Marilza in the early 2000s. Building their eco-house in the village of Findhorn sparked Jonathan's radical change of career from Oxford-trained physicist to Scottish-based artist. Jonathan now works as an artist full-time with Marilza's assistance in producing, mounting, and delivering his own prints.

Jonathan is renowned for his magnificent watercolour interpretations of Scottish landscapes and heritage sites. His paintings are full of spirit and evoke a sense of belonging which is not lost in print. His prints and books are popular across Scotland and far beyond, and he proves to be one of our best-selling artists year after year.
